Fish Lips Scarf-to-Shrug

This jaunty project can end as a shrug or poncho….your call!

This modern and bold design is by Vashti Braha who was originally from Wisconsin! She is the master of the Love Knot Stitch (Solomon’s Knot Stitch). In this pattern, she has you creating two scarves which are then joined on either side with a Rosebud Bridge Stitch seam. This beautiful decorative joining stitch allows for a softened neckline and drapey garment.

The project is definitely an intermediate project due to the ingenuity of the stitch and the flexibility of size of the project by choice of yarn or design . The pattern goes into detail as to how to scale and sculpt the stitch as well as the garment, and Wendy has it down pat!
